The following is
a brief description of the BLACK+GRAY 750 Hawk:
Engine: Honda NT650
block overboard to 750cc, Wiesco 85mm pistons, Crower Titanium Rods,
Mega-Cycle 174 by X8 cams, rear-rear ported heads, internal engine
cases ported and polished, all internal engine components balanced,
close ratio transmission, coated rocker arms, Titanium valve, keepers
and spring retainers, custom design and fabricated aluminum outboard
crank-bearing supports for lightened/balanced crank. Custom designed
and fabricated oversized aluminum radiator, oil cooler, and custom
fabricated open meg exhaust. Keihen 38mm flat side carburetors with
passive ram air system. Dual digital and mechanical temperature gauges.
Autometer tachometer and temp. Custom designed and fabricated engine
cover/cases for outboard crank bearing/support. Average horsepower
per DynoJet Model 150 Dynamometer 80 to 85 hp +/-.
Suspension/Brakes: GSXR
fully adjustable front suspension with upside down forks, Nissin brakes/rotors.
Custom-machined magnesium triple clamps, Penske, 8760 series fully
adjustable rear shock. Tecnomagnesio front wheel with titanium front
axle modified rear axle/swing arm assembly for VFR750 5-1/2" rear
wheel, stock rear brake. Stortz steering stabilizer. Frame/Body: Stock
Honda NT650 frame with modified single-sided swing arm. Custom designed
and fabricated sub-frame (2-1/4 pounds), and front fairing supports.
Custom designed and fabricated, AMA approved, clear polycarbonate catch-can
and lower catch pan. Modified ZX-6 upper, RC30 tail, stock NT650 gas
tank, custom designed and machined BLACK+GRAY clip-ons. Custom designed
and machined rear sets. Custom designed rear sprocket guard. Custom
designed and fabricated chain guides and guards. Miscellaneous: Bike
runs "total loss"(no starter or charging system). Engine
started with remote gasoline engine powered starter motor and special
starting stand. |
